We can’t talk about the gospel and Christ and not talk about his bride. Through the church the manifold wisdom of God will be revealed to our society.
How do we fight sin and live godly loves with others who desire the same things?
Since Christians are called to lay down their lives and suffer for Christ's sake, how we serve other believers (the Church/His Bride) is a clear representation of our faithfulness.
Wherever God calls us, we are called to share the Gospel among all people with love and patience, even the response may be hostile.
We see the Church's early struggle and response to persecution and false religion trying to attack externally.
The early Church suffered a great deal of persecution from external forces, but it also struggled greatly with the sin and dissension accompanied by any group of sinners in need of a savior.
Does the portrait of the early church inspire you? Are you devoted to the same things these Christians were?
